You can call President Donald Trump many things, but "uniter" isn't one.
First, Trump trashed NFL players for taking a knee during the national anthem. Then he disinvited Golden State's Seth Curry to the White House after Curry took a shot at Trump.
Then Cavs' superstar LeBron James tweeted that Trump was a "bum."
That prompted angry callers to flood team owner Dan Gilbert of Detroit with phone messages that show him the underside of America, writes Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
"I received voicemails after LeBron tweeted that were some of the most vile, disgusting, racist [messages]," Gilbert says on CNBC's "Squawk Box." "There's an element of racism that I didn't even realize existed in this country this much."
