A Michigan woman, now 55, says that George H.W. Bush gave her a "gentle squeeze" on the butt while he was president in April 1992, Athena Jones of CNN reports. Bush, who is 93, was 68 at the time.
The woman, who asked CNN not to disclose her name, said she was attending a fundraiser for Bush's re-election campaign in Dearborn with her father when the president grabbed her rear end during a photo-op.
"We got closer together for a family photo and it was like 'Holy crap!'" she said, describing the moment Bush touched her buttocks. "It was like a gentle squeeze."
She tells CNN she smiled for the camera, and rationalized that "it was probably an accident."
But recent reports about Bush's butt-grabbing made her rethink the incident.
"All the focus has been on 'He's old.' OK, but he wasn't old when it happened to me," she told CNN. "I've been debating what to do about it."
At least six other women claim Bush did a similar thing to them.
