The brief footage of a recent house fire near Mound and E. Davison on Detroit's East Side was shot by Harry Arnold, a videographer who operates iTVDetroit, a Detroit-based company that specializes in aerial photography with radio-controlled, camera-equipped vehicles, commonly known as drones.
Arnold normally uses his aerial vehicle to shoot a wide array of commercial projects, but he shot the fire when he saw the smoke while driving nearby. Fire crews had not arrived, but a Detroit Police officer was at the scene.
