The crazy drama of threatened high school shootings is playing out across the land.
In Oakland County, the mother of a South Lyon High School student cried in 52nd District Court in Novi on Wednesday as a judge refused to change her 17-year-old son's $10 million bond, WXYZ reports. The judge will consider written arguments from Ryan DeBruyne's defense attorney next month.
DeBruyne, 17, is charged with making a threat of terrorism after he allegedly asked friends on Snapchat if they wanted to re-enact what happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., where 17 people were killed.
A friend reported the post to police.
