TV news has perhaps never been as entertaining as now, thanks to President Donald Trump.

Karen McDougal, a native of Berrien County in western Michigan, who taught preschool in Detroit before becoming a Playboy playmate, is expected to talk about her alleged affair with Trump on Thursday at 8 p.m. with Anderson Cooper on CNN, the Detroit Free Press reports.

McDougal was Playboy Playmate of the month in December 1997 and Playmate of the Year for 1998. She describes herself on LinkedIn as an "independent entertainment professional."

She's suing the National Enquirer’s parent company, claiming she should be released from a 2016 legal agreement preventing her from talking about Trump. The Enquirer, whose chief executive is a friend of Trump's, paid her $150,000 to essentially kill her story, a practice referred to as “catch and kill.” She claims the agreement is invalid.

Stormy Daniels, aka Stephanie Clifford, was paid $130,000 by Trump's attorney to stay silent about her supposed affair with Trump. She too is suing, claiming the agreement is invalid. She is scheduled to appear 7 p.m. Sunday on CBS's 60 Minutes, and will also be interviewed by Anderson Cooper.

The New York Times reports:

Ms. Clifford and Ms. McDougal tell strikingly similar stories about their experiences with Mr. Trump, which included alleged trysts at the same Lake Tahoe golf tournament in 2006, dates at the same Beverly Hills hotel and promises of apartments as gifts.

Trump denies the affairs.
