The 43-year-old National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) host its annual convention in Detroit from Aug. 1-5.
In preparation, the Detroit Chapter posts a four-minute video to promote the gathering.
It includes Mayor Mike Duggan, former Mayor Dennis Archer, auto exec Alicia Boler-Davis, Fox 2's Huel Perkins and WWJ reporter Vickie Thomas who heads the local committee planning the convention, reports Rochelle Riley of the Detroit Free Press.
