Supino Pizzeria in Eastern Market is preparing a second location at the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and West Milwaukee Street. in Detroit's New Center area.
Owner Dave Mancini tells Tom Perkins of Metro Times he purchased a building on the same block on which Selden Standard's owners and Baobab Fare plan new restaurants, and it could be open as soon as mid-2019.
There's no name yet. Mancini will likely have pasta dishes in addition to the New York-style pizza. The shop will be "essentially be Supino part two," he says.
