Tuesday was not a good night for the University of Michigan basketball team. For one, Michigan, which was atop the Big Ten standings, lost to last-place Penn State 75-69 in an away game.
Then there was Coach John Beilein, who had a meltdown and got ejected after arguing a call. (See the video below.) He was gone for the second half.
The last time he was ejected was the 1979-80 season, when he was a 26-year old head coach at Erie (N.Y.) Community College, the Detroit Free Press reports, citing the website The Athletic.
