Buddy's Pizza, the Farmington Hills-based chain that began in Detroit in 1946, s opening a spot at the Madison Building in Grand Circus Park in downtown Detroit near Comerica Park.
Demolition in the space started Monday and Buddy's hopes to serve pies by September or later this fall, said Wesley Pikula, chief brand officer, according to Crain's Detroit Business.
The company made the announcement Tuesday on social media. Dan Gilbert, who owns the buliding, also piped in:
