Users of illegal drugs have their own version of the Better Business Bureau, evidently -- the FBI. Customer complaints about the quality of heroin one alleged Pontiac drug ring was offering for sale is what brought the heat down, The Detroit News reports.

Robert Snell writes:

[Accused seller Charles] Harris complained about losing customers due to the poor quality of the drugs and said some customers returned the narcotics, according to a criminal complaint.

Harris said some customers considered the heroin and fentanyl "too weak," according to the court filing.

Other customers threatened to tell the police about the low-quality drugs, according to court records.

The Pontiac ring had sold heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine in Oakland County and Flint in Michigan, as well as in Arizona, Tennessee and West Virginia. They are said to have Mexican connections, as well.

Six people were charged on Friday in federal court.
