The popular Green Room, a hole-in-the-wall carryout joint known for its salad bar and soup, closed in April 2018 after it lost its lease in the Ford Building on Griswold and Congress in downtown Detroit. It had been there since 1996.
Two weeks ago, it resurfaced in a more modern -- but still very small -- space in the Guardian Building on Griswold.
The original salad bar had no seating. In the new spot, customers can eat at community seating in the Guardian lobby.
