Yahoo! News reports cool places you can get married at in Metro Detroit including the Detroit Zoo.

Tina Valentine (an appropriate name for this story) reports:

There are actually a few places inside the zoo that are available for your wedding ceremony -- it mostly depends on how many guests and the type of environment you prefer. You could rent the glass-domed bird house, the Rackham Fountain area, the Cotton Family Wetlands Boardwalk, or even the Arctic Ring of Life.

She also writes that you can tie the knot at the "castle-like mansion" known as The Whitney on Woodward Avenue in Detroit that was built in 1894 by architect Gordon W. Lloyd.

Another place, she writes, is a Novi farm:

The Tollgate Education Conference Center, owned by Michigan State University, doesn't sound like it would be an old-fashioned farm with 160 acres of farmland, but it is. It was built in the mid 1800s by Samuel Bassett.
