Still, the media seems to be following convicted murderer Joe Gentz and suspected murderer Bob Bashara as if they were.
Recently, the media reported that Bashara, who is awaiting trial in the murder of his wife Jane, was written up in jail for stealing ketchup, jelly, sugar and spoons from the cafeteria, and lying about it. Some speculated he wanted to make prison wine. Apparently, he's a guy who won't let prison bars get in the way of a good time.
Now, WDIV's Hank Winchester reports that handyman Joe Gentz, who pleaded guilty to killing Bashara's wife, has had problems at a prison in New Haven.
Winchester reports that has been written up twice for his bad behavior, once for holding his cell door open as it was trying to close, and refusing to take a test that would measure his mental capacity and skill set.
Winchester wonders if his misbehavior might hurt his credibilty against Bashara. He claims Bashara ordered him to kill Jane Bashara.
Bashara pleaded guilty to trying to hire a hit man to kill Gentz in prison. Bashara now faces charges he killed his wife.
They may not have the star power of Lindsay Lohan.
But together, their story may be a whole lot more interesting.
