We've seen the recent filming of the Ryan Gosling movie  "How to Catch a Monster" and "Transformers 4" with Mark Wahlberg.

Now, more movies are expected to film in Michigan, including "Money is Money and "Beverly Hills Cop 4." "Division 19" just wrapped up filming here.

The Michigan Film Office has approved $2 million in film incentives for the thriller "Money is Money." Rachel Horovitz (Moneyball, Grey Gardens), Dominique Boutonnat and Hubert Caillard (The Untouchables, 2 Days in New York) will produce the film, with Gela Babluani (13 Tzameti, The Legacy) writing and directing.

The Michigan Film Office, in a press release, writes that the film is about  three childhood friends – James, Eric and Alex - who "find themselves aspiring to live a more comfortable lifestyle than their current situation, especially after James has to borrow money from a loan shark to pay for his daughter’s medical procedure. After a burglary gone wrong the friendship turns to betrayal as the passage into the world of “every man for himself” drives the characters to make radical choices."

The poltical thriller Division 19  filmed this month.  The Michigan Film Office has agreed to give it $260,642 in film incentives.

“The compelling locations found throughout metro Detroit played a big factor in bringing this project to Michigan,” Margaret O’Riley, director of the Michigan Film Office, said in a statement. “Division 19" is committed to using Michigan crew and to providing jobs and experience for our workers.”

And Deadline Hollywood reports that Paramount Pictures is working on a new sequel, "Beverly Hills Cops 4" with Eddie Murphy. Some filming is expected to take place in Detroit, but few details were available.

Detroit Police officer Ira Todd, who is a consultant for the new AMC cop show "Low Winter Sun," says that he's already had discussions with writers for the Beverly Hills Cop movie.
