It's good to know some thieves aren't very discriminating when it comes to stealing.

Fox2 reports that two Emergency Medical Technicians from a private ambulance firm said thieves stole from their parked vehicle in front of a home on Lakepoint Street on  Detroit's east side at 4 p.m. Tuesday while they were treating a patient inside.

Fox2 reports that one of the EMTs, Elizabeth Reno, said she's missing a wallet and checkbook. Her partner's backpack, that contained a cellphone and GPS, was also gone.

Fox2 reported that Reno used her phone to call her partner's phone.

"They called back and I answered the phone, and I said 'Hey can I have my stuff back?' He's like, 'I don't know what you're talking about. This guy just sold me these two bags for six bucks,'" Reno tells Fox 2's Maurielle Lue. -- Allan Lengel
