Daredevil Skiers Truck In Snow And Do The Packard Plant. Yes, Skiers.

December 09, 2013, 5:21 PM

The skiing starts at about the 1:50 mark. Lots of slow-motion shots of buildings and portentous music before that.

Raves. Scrapping. Robberies. Love. Barbecues. Graffiti. Paintball. Photography. And oh yes, car-making.

Lots of activity has taken place inside the Packard Plant over the years, but it's almost certain no one had skied inside the 43-building complex until a trio of daredevils showed up earlier this year. They even brought in their own snow.

The video was produced by Poor Boyz Productions, action sports specialists from Hermosa Beach, Calif., and released by Red Bull Media House. It has more than 20,000 views in four days.

The video appears to come from a film titled "Tracing Skylines," which follows six skiers on adventures around the world.

In Detroit, they skied some lesser-known venues as well.

According to the video's text, a skier named Karl Fostvedt was the lede crazy in Detroit.

Thanks to Motor City Muckraker for bringing this to Deadline Detroit's attention.
