Detroit Scenes Shine In Transformers 4 Trailer

March 07, 2014, 11:44 AM

A newly released preview from Transformers 4 gives us a long-awaited glimpse at scenes shot in Detroit.

Film crews turned various parts of Detroit and southeast Michigan into sets last summer. A lot downtown near Grand Circus Park became a stand-in for Hong Kong, the Fisher Body Plant lit up with pyrotechnics and the Boblo boats were movie stars.

Now, we can see it all on screen.

The Fisher Body Plant gets "blown up" in a scene.

Also, apparently Transformers can morph into dinosaurs now? I'm going to have to catch up on two Transformers movies before this one is released July 27.
