The folks at Dan Gilbert's Bedrock Real Estate Services are trying to generate some hype about four new restaurants that are coming to their downtown Detroit buildings.

A press conference is slated for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First National Building downtown to generate some excitement.  The company has not officially released the names.

It may be a bit anti-climactic.

Anjana Schroeder of Crain's Detroit Business reported Tuesday that al least one of the four restaurants will be Wright & Co., and that it will open this summer at the Wright Kay Building at 1500 Woodward Avenue. Gilbert bought the building in 2011.

Victoria Trudeau of Eater Detroit  and DBusiness reported months earlier that  Wright & Co. was opening at the Wright Kay Building and would be run by Marc Djozlija (formerly executive chef for the MGM Grand's Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group) and Dave Kwiatkowski, the owner of Corktown's Sugar House.

They'll serve up American contemporary small plates.

Earlier this year, Crain's reported that Denver-based restaurant and entertainment complex Punch Bowl Social will open on the first floor of Bedrock-owned The Z parking garage downtown and that a soup and salad restaurant,  7 Greens Detroit Salad Co. would open in August inside The Z.

Crain's reported that it was unclear if the  Punch Bowl Social or 7 Greens, would be among the four restaurants participating in the press event.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow.  -- A.L.
